The Association is honoured to be invited to collaborate with the Interdepartmental Counter Terrorism Unit (ICTU) to launch a “Safe Community Pledge – Hotel sector” program. It aims to enhance the awareness of hotel industry team members to identify suspicious persons, objects, and activities and encourage them to report terrorist and violent news promptly to achieve national counter-terrorism and jointly safeguard the security of Hong Kong.
A launching ceremony took place at POC．Fest, Hong Kong Police Force Police Officers’ Club, today (9 October 2024). It was officiated by Mr Yip Wan-lung, Keith, Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations, and Mr Peter Wong, Chairman of HKHA, together with 55 representatives from 40 member hotels who participated and witnessed this meaningful ceremony.
