The Association’s Executive Director and the representatives of our Executive Committee member participated in the West Kowloon Cultural District Exchange Visit on 25 August 2026, jointly organised by the offices of Legislative Council Members Hon. Perry Yiu, MH JP and Hon. Vivian Kong, SBS MH.
During the visit, participants received an update from the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority on the district’s latest developments, and toured the M+ exhibition “Design Ah! Experience the Wonder of Everyday Design” as well as the Hong Kong Palace Museum’s special exhibition “Ancient Egypt Unveiled: Treasures from Egyptian Museums”.
In addition, participants learned about the District’s efforts to strengthen cultural tourism through a new ticketing platform, which aims to facilitate the development of hotel-and-cultural experience packages. The initiative is expected to enhance collaboration between the tourism and cultural sectors while offering visitors a more diverse and integrated travel experience in Hong Kong.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to enhance understanding of Hong Kong’s cultural tourism development and foster closer exchanges between the tourism sector and cultural institutions.
