CHOMP is a Hong Kong founded award-winning food-saving app with a mission to reduce food waste by connecting F&B businesses, like hotels, restaurants, bakeries and cafes, with customers who can purchase Mystery Boxes containing unsold or surplus items at a discount. Since 2021, CHOMP has rescued nearly 100,000 kg of edible food from going to landfills, and saved over 200,000 kg of CO2 emissions. With over 50,000 app downloads since the app launched, CHOMP has also seen a huge amount of growth by partnering with 250+ establishments, including renowned brands such as Shangri-La, Maxim’s, The Baker and the Bottleman, TreeHouse, Alice Pizza and many more.
Our efforts have garnered recognition from various media outlets, including SCMP, Tatler Asia, NowTV and Ming Pao (to name a few) and awards from Forbes, Start-Up Express and the ICT Awards for further spreading awareness about the importance of reducing food waste.
CHOMP is committed to supporting local businesses while championing the cause of food waste reduction. Firmly believing that by collaborating with our extensive network of F&B partners and engaging customers in the fight against food waste, we can all make a tangible impact on our planet’s sustainability.
