CE Policy Address 2024

HKHA Chairman sent a letter to the Chief Executive today (October 16) to express the profound appreciation for the announcement of the new policy about easing visa rules for certain Asean arrivals while the government ends the need for tourists to fill out entry and departure forms, as well as the call for the central government to resume multiple entries for Shenzhen residents, are crucial for generating incremental global arrivals.

With the moves to court Middle East visitors and the Muslim segment and the completion of the Kai Tak Sports Park and other tourism infrastructure, the Association has high expectations for the city’s tourism blueprint 2.0 for both short-term and long-term tourism strategies later this year.
