Congratulations to Mr. Chris Lai, Convenor of the Security Committee of the Hong Kong Hotels Association, for receiving the Chief Executive’s Commendation for Community Service at Government House on 23 November. The Chief Executive, Mr John Lee, presented the award in recognition of Mr Lai’s contributions to actively engaging in and promoting crime prevention in the hotel industry.
Mr Lai was elected Convenor in 2015 and has been in the process for 10 years. He was honoured to be nominated and receive the award from the Chief Executive. He pledged to continue his efforts to promote the work of the hotel industry in crime prevention and to work with the Police to ensure that Hong Kong continues to be one of the safest cities in the world.
