The HKHA Chairman sent a letter today (18 September) to congratulate Prof Stephen Y.L. Cheung as President of Saint Francis University, effective 15 September 2025.
HKHA has enjoyed a longstanding and fruitful partnership with the institution, dating back to its origins as Caritas Institute of Higher Education. We are proud to have supported its transition to university status and collaborated on scholarship initiatives and hospitality education programmes.
Our joint efforts in developing hotel and tourism courses have played a vital role in nurturing talent and promoting the sustainable growth of Hong Kong’s hospitality sector. We look forward to deepening this meaningful partnership under Professor Cheung’s leadership and continuing to advance excellence in hospitality education.
