The HKHA Chairman sent a letter to the Chief Executive today (September 18) to express appreciation for the announcement of the new policy on integrating culture, sports, ecology, and mega-events into the framework of tourism development.
The Association also welcomes the extension of the Vocational Professional Admission Scheme (VPAS) to encompass two higher diploma programmes in culinary arts and hotel and tourism studies, with the strong support of the Culture, Sports, and Tourism Bureau.
The Association supported the government’s initiative to promote high-end tourism markets, particularly yacht tourism.
The Association is eager to contribute substantively to the forthcoming Development Blueprint for Hong Kong’s Tourism Industry 2.0 and collaborate closely with government authorities to support our tourism sector’s continued growth, competitiveness, and global appeal.
