The Hong Kong SAR Government is currently developing its first Five-Year Plan to align with national goals.
The association was invited by Legislative Council Members Yiu Pak-leung and Kong Man-wai to participate in the tourism consultation meeting. During the meeting, Mr Wilson Lee, Chairman of the Association emphasised that Hong Kong’s tourism strategy should shift from recovery to upgrading, moving away from volume-driven growth to a quality-focused, sustainable model. Successful delivery will depend on coordinated alignment across five critical pillars: aviation capacity, event and tourism content, labour supply, cost competitiveness, and quality tourism service.
