The Hong Kong Hotels Association (HKHA) held the 2025 Certificate of Merit Presentation Ceremony on 8 July, recognizing 40 hotel employees from 19 cases for their outstanding performance in security, crime prevention, emergency response, and integrity.
The ceremony was officiated by Ms. Tam Nga Ching, Monita, Acting Regional Commander Kowloon West, Hong Kong Police Force, and Mr. Ryan Kwok, Assistant Director (Hong Kong Island), Fire Services Department.
In his welcoming remarks, Mr. Wilson Lee, Acting Chairman of HKHA, said that the awards acknowledge the professionalism, dedication, and strong sense of responsibility demonstrated by frontline hotel staff. He also expressed his appreciation to the Hong Kong Police Force and the Fire Services Department for their longstanding support and close collaboration with the hotel industry in enhancing safety and security standards across the sector.
